Essentials: Tertiary qualification in Food Technology/Food Science or Quality Management. 10y+ working experience in dairy industry. 2y+ managerial experience. Computer literate. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in yoghurt production
Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
Salary: market related
A well-established Dairy Production company is looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join their team in their Cape Town factory.
You will be tasked with ensuring Food Safety Standards, Hygiene, Sanitation and Quality standards are maintained. Experience with implementing and maintaining GMP, GLP, hygiene and food safety protocols are important to lead the team under your management. The Quality Manager will also be responsible for liaising with external stakeholders pertaining to quality concerns (Suppliers, service providers, regulatory bodies and customers). An essential role will be responsibility for internal, external and supplier audit.
- ND / BTech / BSc Food Technology or Food Science or Quality Management
- 10y+ working experience in food production factories
- 2y+ managerial experience in the dairy industry
- Experience in yoghurt processing and packaging a distinct advantage
- Fluent in English, Conversational Afrikaans
