Essentials: Tertiary qualification in Food Technology/Food Science. 10y+ working experience in dairy industry. 5y+ managerial experience. Computer literate. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in yoghurt production

Details:
A well-established Dairy Production company is looking for an experienced Production Manager to join their team in their Cape Town factory.
The role will include efficient running of a packaging department in the production environment. This will include managing:
    • Maintaining processes according to Quality standards
    • Efficient production times
    • Cost and waste reduction
    • Health and Safety measures
    • Staff (production, packaging, cold store, and deliveries)
 
Requirements:
    • ND / BTech / BSc Food Technology or Food Science
    • 10y+ working experience in food production factories
    • 5y+ managerial experience in the dairy industry
    • Experience in yoghurt processing and packaging a distinct advantage
